Wedding Suits for Port Melbourne clients

Start early: suits typically take 3 to 4 weeks to make, plus time for the second fitting and adjustments. We will map out the timeline at your first appointment.

Your wedding suit should look like you on your best day. We design it with you, from the cloth to the lining, and fit it twice before the big day.

Linen and lightweight wool are popular choices for Port Melbourne weddings and long summer evenings.

From the inner south, Richmond is a short drive or tram connection away.

Most Port Melbourne clients make the 5 km trip to 214 Bridge Road twice: once to design and measure, once for the second fitting.

If you are coming from Port Melbourne, Albert Park or South Melbourne, a weekday appointment is usually the quietest time to visit.

Wedding Suits questions

When should we start planning wedding suits?

As early as you can. Suits typically take 3 to 4 weeks to make, then allow time for the second fitting and any adjustments. Tell us your date and we will plan backwards from it.

Is there a discount for the wedding party?

Yes. Wedding parties of 4 or more enjoy 20% off all suits.

Do all groomsmen need to come in?

Each person needs to be measured and attend a second fitting so their suit fits properly. We will help you schedule appointments.

Can the groom look different from the groomsmen?

Absolutely. Many grooms choose a different cloth, a waistcoat or a contrasting lining so they stand out while the group still looks coordinated.

What if the fit is not right at the second fitting?

We do not hand your garment over until you are happy with the fit. Our in-house tailor makes the adjustments.

Do you keep my measurements?

Yes. Measurements, patterns and alteration notes are kept on file, which makes repeat orders faster and usually removes the need for multiple fittings.

I live outside Richmond. Can I still order?

Of course. Clients visit our Bridge Road showroom from all over Melbourne and beyond, and once your measurements are on file, reorders are simple wherever you are.
