Wedding Suits for Southbank clients

Start early: suits typically take 3 to 4 weeks to make, plus time for the second fitting and adjustments. We will map out the timeline at your first appointment.

Your wedding suit should look like you on your best day. We design it with you, from the cloth to the lining, and fit it twice before the big day.

For Southbank professionals, a suit rotation built from one pattern saves time on every reorder.

Wedding Suits questions

When should we start planning wedding suits?

As early as you can. Suits typically take 3 to 4 weeks to make, then allow time for the second fitting and any adjustments. Tell us your date and we will plan backwards from it.

Is there a discount for the wedding party?

Yes. Wedding parties of 4 or more enjoy 20% off all suits.

Do all groomsmen need to come in?

Each person needs to be measured and attend a second fitting so their suit fits properly. We will help you schedule appointments.

Can the groom look different from the groomsmen?

Absolutely. Many grooms choose a different cloth, a waistcoat or a contrasting lining so they stand out while the group still looks coordinated.

How many fittings will I need?

Usually two. The first (about 45 minutes) covers design, fabric and measurements. The second happens when the garment arrives, and any final adjustments are made in-house, usually within a week.

What if the fit is not right at the second fitting?

We do not hand your garment over until you are happy with the fit. Our in-house tailor makes the adjustments.

Do you keep my measurements?

Yes. Measurements, patterns and alteration notes are kept on file, which makes repeat orders faster and usually removes the need for multiple fittings.

Do you look after clients from Southbank?

Yes. Southbank clients visit our Richmond showroom regularly. Our showroom is on Bridge Road in Richmond. We welcome clients from anywhere in Melbourne and beyond, and once your measurements are on file, reorders are simple wherever you live.
