Tailored Suits for Camberwell clients
A tailored suit starts with you, not a size chart. We measure, note your posture and talk through how you will wear it, then cut a pattern that belongs to you alone.
Whether it is your first custom suit or your tenth, the process is the same: two fittings, a fabric you have chosen by hand, and adjustments made in-house until it is right.
Families in Camberwell often come to us for weddings, school formals and milestone events.
Eastern suburbs clients often book a weekend fitting so there is no rush.
Most Camberwell clients make the 7 km trip to 214 Bridge Road twice: once to design and measure, once for the second fitting.
If you are coming from Camberwell, Glen Iris or Canterbury, a weekday appointment is usually the quietest time to visit.
We see clients from across City of Boroondara, including Camberwell (3124).
We don't hand your garment over until you're happy with the fit. Any adjustments are made by our in-house tailor.

Tailored Suits questions
What is the difference between bespoke and off-the-rack?
Off-the-rack suits are made to standard sizes and altered afterwards. A tailored suit is cut from your own measurements and posture, so it fits from the first fitting and is refined at the second.
Can I choose every detail?
Yes. Lapel width and style, button stance, pockets, vents, lining, trouser cut and finishing are all your choice. We will guide you if you would like advice.
Which fabric should I choose for Melbourne weather?
A mid-weight wool works most of the year. We can show you lighter wools and linens for summer and heavier cloths for winter at your fitting.
Can I add a second pair of trousers?
Yes. Extra trousers are a popular way to extend the life of a suit you wear often.
How much will it cost?
Every order is quoted individually because the fabric, style and number of pieces change the price. Send your details and we will come back with a custom quote. The final price is confirmed after your details are checked.
How long does a custom garment take?
A suit typically takes 3 to 4 weeks to make and shirts 2 to 3 weeks. If you need it for a specific date, tell us at your first fitting and we will confirm whether the timeline works.
Do you hire suits?
No. We do not offer suit hire. Every garment is made for the person who wears it.
Do you look after clients from Camberwell?
