Tailored Suits for Brighton clients
From lightweight wools for warm days to heavier cloths for winter, we help you choose a fabric that suits how and where you will wear it.
A tailored suit starts with you, not a size chart. We measure, note your posture and talk through how you will wear it, then cut a pattern that belongs to you alone.
Brighton clients often ask for lighter cloths that stay comfortable at summer weddings and events by the water.
Bayside clients often plan one longer visit for their first fitting and make reorders from the measurements we keep on file.
Most Brighton clients make the 10 km trip to 214 Bridge Road twice: once to design and measure, once for the second fitting.
Neighbours in Elsternwick, Elwood and Bentleigh often come in together for group and wedding orders.
We see clients from across City of Bayside, including Brighton (3186).
We don't hand your garment over until you're happy with the fit. Any adjustments are made by our in-house tailor.

Tailored Suits questions
What is the difference between bespoke and off-the-rack?
Off-the-rack suits are made to standard sizes and altered afterwards. A tailored suit is cut from your own measurements and posture, so it fits from the first fitting and is refined at the second.
Can I choose every detail?
Yes. Lapel width and style, button stance, pockets, vents, lining, trouser cut and finishing are all your choice. We will guide you if you would like advice.
Which fabric should I choose for Melbourne weather?
A mid-weight wool works most of the year. We can show you lighter wools and linens for summer and heavier cloths for winter at your fitting.
Can I add a second pair of trousers?
Yes. Extra trousers are a popular way to extend the life of a suit you wear often.
How many fittings will I need?
Usually two. The first (about 45 minutes) covers design, fabric and measurements. The second happens when the garment arrives, and any final adjustments are made in-house, usually within a week.
What if the fit is not right at the second fitting?
We do not hand your garment over until you are happy with the fit. Our in-house tailor makes the adjustments.
Do you keep my measurements?
Yes. Measurements, patterns and alteration notes are kept on file, which makes repeat orders faster and usually removes the need for multiple fittings.
Do you look after clients from Brighton?
Yes. Brighton clients visit our Richmond showroom regularly. Our showroom is on Bridge Road in Richmond. We welcome clients from anywhere in Melbourne and beyond, and once your measurements are on file, reorders are simple wherever you live.
