Shirts for Cheltenham clients

A shirt fits or it does not. We measure neck, chest, waist, sleeve and shoulders so your shirt sits cleanly under a jacket and on its own.

Choose collar, cuffs, placket and pockets, and pick from cottons, linens and our stain-resistant shirting.

Cheltenham clients often want one well-made suit that works for work, weddings and everything in between.

South-east clients usually book their first fitting ahead and make later orders from the measurements on file.

Most Cheltenham clients make the 18 km trip to 214 Bridge Road twice: once to design and measure, once for the second fitting.

If you are coming from Cheltenham, Mentone or Sandringham, a weekday appointment is usually the quietest time to visit.

We see clients from across City of Kingston, including Cheltenham (3192).

We don't hand your garment over until you're happy with the fit. Any adjustments are made by our in-house tailor.

Shirts questions

How long do shirts take?

Shirts typically take 2 to 3 weeks to make.

Is there a minimum order?

Ask us when you request your quote. Many clients order several shirts once their fit is confirmed.

What is stain-resistant shirting?

It is a treated shirting fabric designed to resist everyday marks, popular for workwear.

Can I have my initials added?

Yes. Monogramming can be added to cuffs or the chest.

How many fittings will I need?

Usually two. The first (about 45 minutes) covers design, fabric and measurements. The second happens when the garment arrives, and any final adjustments are made in-house, usually within a week.

What if the fit is not right at the second fitting?

We do not hand your garment over until you are happy with the fit. Our in-house tailor makes the adjustments.

Do you keep my measurements?

Yes. Measurements, patterns and alteration notes are kept on file, which makes repeat orders faster and usually removes the need for multiple fittings.

Do you look after clients from Cheltenham?

Yes. Cheltenham clients visit our Richmond showroom regularly. Our showroom is on Bridge Road in Richmond. We welcome clients from anywhere in Melbourne and beyond, and once your measurements are on file, reorders are simple wherever you live.
