Formal Suits for Albert Park clients

Formal occasions call for a suit that looks considered from across the room and up close. We cut yours to your measurements and finish it with the details you choose.

Darker cloths, a three-piece option and careful finishing give a formal suit its presence.

Albert Park has a long tradition of dressing well for occasions, from weddings to the races.

Inner-south clients reach Bridge Road easily across the river.

Most Albert Park clients make the 4 km trip to 214 Bridge Road twice: once to design and measure, once for the second fitting.

Neighbours in South Melbourne, Port Melbourne and Middle Park often come in together for group and wedding orders.

We see clients from across City of Port Phillip, including Albert Park (3206).

We don't hand your garment over until you're happy with the fit. Any adjustments are made by our in-house tailor.

Formal Suits questions

What makes a suit formal?

Usually a darker cloth, cleaner details and sometimes a waistcoat. We will help you choose for your occasion.

Should I choose a three-piece?

A waistcoat adds formality and lets you remove the jacket and still look dressed. It suits many formal events.

Can I wear it to work afterwards?

Yes, if we choose the cloth and details with that in mind.

What if my event is soon?

Tell us the date at your first fitting and we will confirm whether we can meet it.

How much will it cost?

Every order is quoted individually because the fabric, style and number of pieces change the price. Send your details and we will come back with a custom quote. The final price is confirmed after your details are checked.

How long does a custom garment take?

A suit typically takes 3 to 4 weeks to make and shirts 2 to 3 weeks. If you need it for a specific date, tell us at your first fitting and we will confirm whether the timeline works.

Do you hire suits?

No. We do not offer suit hire. Every garment is made for the person who wears it.

Do you look after clients from Albert Park?
